Retro : Kilkenny v Cork All Ireland Camogie Final (11/09/2016)
Listen back as Kilkenny ended a 22 year wait for Senior All-Ireland Camogie Championship in 2016
History was with Cork. You have to go back to 1994 when Kilkenny last lifted the O’Duffy Cup and while they’ve come close to it in recent years – 2014 in particular – the monkey was finally shaken off their back on Sunday when Mullinavat’s Michelle Quilty walked up the steps of the Hogan Stand, emulating Ann Downey and Kilkenny greats before her.
Take a listen back to highlights as the Kilkenny senior’s completed a hat trick of victories for Kilkenny and Carlow in the wake of the Premier Junior and Intermediate All-Ireland Finals.
